After overcoming a serious shoulder injury in 2022 and stepping back from competition, Alma has made an impressive return to the climbing scene, finishing 22nd overall in the 2024 World Cup season. However, her time in Brione wasn’t just about ticking grades—it was about reconnecting with the joy of climbing.

As Alma shared on Instagram:

“Spending New Year in Brione is slowly becoming a tradition. Being outside all day in the stillness of nature, and sharing the time with my people was everything I needed… This time my climbing was less about grades and more about being present. I climbed what looked fun and cool—something I don’t do often enough.”

The results speak for themselves: a mix of pure joy and impressive sends, including Darkness (8A+) and Frogger (8A), rounded out by other notable climbs like Red (8A/7C+) and Molonk Left (7C+).

Here’s to Alma’s continued success and her inspiring balance of pushing limits and embracing the moment!
